📖 Instructions for Real Testing

Enable Location Sharing

Open Google Maps on your smartphone → Profile picture → "Location sharing" → "New share" → Choose 1 hour → Copy link

Paste Link in Generator

Paste the Google Maps link in the "Sharing URL" field above and fill in other information (ETA, driver name)

Generate and Test

Click "Generate tracking link" then "Test link" to see the real-time result

Send to Test Client

Copy the SMS template and send it to your own number to test the complete client experience

⚠️ Important Notes

  • 🔒 Privacy: Demo links use a static map of Nice. For real tracking, use your own Google Maps link.
  • 📱 Smartphone required: Google Maps location sharing only works on smartphones (iOS/Android).
  • 🌐 Internet connection: Make sure you have a good 4G/5G connection during the ride.
  • ⏱️ Expiration: Links expire automatically after the set duration to protect your privacy.
  • 🔋 Battery: GPS consumes battery. Keep your phone charged (>50%).
